Grace Episcopal church IS church, no doubt about it. It did not take long at all to fall in love with the heart of this church. It was very evident from day 1 that Grace Church is very intentional and passionate to unreservedly and boldly be a church beyond the safety of the 4 walls. From building genuine relationships, to serving the homeless, to serving the community, and by providing care and support to various local schools, organizations and local ministries, Grace church is a church with a heart bound closely to God's heart. One will learn quickly that Grace church is clearly about building relationships inside and outside the church with a strong expression of NOT being a place of empty religious traditions, routine, judgment, and ritual. My favorite way to describe Grace Episcopal church to my friends, family, co-workers, and anyone that asks is...Grace church is a family of real people, seeking a real God, being real with each other and with a heart to become a real church with Christ-like attitude, altitude, and intention for our community.

Attendee Tips

I had never been involved in a church until I met Jay George and the Grace Church folks. Jay meets you where you are in your own spiritual journey and helps you on your way without judgement or condemnation. The focus is on relationship, not religion. All the reasons many people have to stay away from "religion and church" is not a part of this group. Jay is able to help me understand what the bible is trying to tell us and make it relevant and connect it with your daily life. My wife and I have made some awesome friends at Grace and it is exciting to see what God is doing with this group.

Grace Church is a five-year-old church plant of the Episcopal Diocese of West Texas. Grace Church's mission is connection: connecting people with Christ, self and others. We value service, laughter, action and growth. Our worship style is contemporary and casual. Our preaching and teaching is relevant, biblical and often humorous. We do not have members; we have partners in the gospel. Our congregation consists almost entirely of young families. Approximately one-third of our partners are under the age of 18. We believe in living out our faith by serving others in our community.

Attendee Tips

Worship rarely begins on time because we have too much fun talking to each other before the service begins. If you are looking for a dry, traditional, formal liturgical worship experience you probably won't like this church.
