Write a Review“Feels like home!”by mugamons10
I joined Kingo just a few years ago, but it feels like I have known the community forever. I was immediately welcomed and given opportunities to get involved in significant ways. There is so much going on at Kingo. There is an intense calling to serve our neighbors in Milwaukee and the world. Our goals may seem ambitious for a small church but the energy never dwindles. From an inspiring music program to opportunities for service to close connections within the congregation, Kingo is a special place where ALL people can share in God's love.
“Kingo is a congregation that prioritizes worship, welcome and living out our faith in the broader community.”by Carolyn
Kingo is a congregation that meets people where they are and strives to walk together to be God's hands in the world. Kingo values helping each other grow in faith by all generations learning from each other. Kingo places emphasis on worship, and sharing gifts of music, both vocally and with various instruments. It is a joyful place where I experience the Spirit at work!
“welcoming community”by KingoLC
I've had the chance to attend Kingo services regularly in the past 8 months as a staff member. Almost every Sunday I come, I can't help but invite family or friends along to come and feel the warm welcome of this community. Even my busy 2-year-old granddaughter receives lots of smiles encouraging her toddler busyness. And she loves the many "high-five" peaces she gets! The liturgy changes with the seasons, keeping things fresh and connected to the liturgical year.
Attendee Tips
If you enter the building from a middle or east entrance, head to the sanctuary at the west end of the building. You'll enter the sanctuary in front of the pews, but don't let that stop you - we love to see faces popping in at any time during the service.
