Write a Review“People who want to follow Jesus AND have fun”by jonathanreitz
Bottom line, there are a lot of great churches. There just are. The world is filled with plenty of people who want to make a difference in the world though the good news that Jesus offers. You will have a lot of great opportunities to connect with a church that does that, and Heartland is one of them. But here's what makes Heartland different: this is probably the most fun church I've ever been to. Seriously. One of the congregation's values is to have fun while helping people find, follow and share Jesus. Fun is the delivery system for just about everything the church does, and I think that's pretty unusual. That's significant and attractive. When my family moved to Medina two years ago, we visited a bunch of churches in the area. The commitment to having fun was the difference maker. This is the thing that set Heartland apart from the others. There are lots of great churches in Medina, but Heartland stands out because it's the church where all those people are having a great time following Jesus.

The lights in the rest rooms are on a timer that WILL turn off if you stay in there too long!
“a great church family”by Robert Cain
Heartland has been my church home for over 10 years. I hadn't regularly attended a church for a long, long time before finding Heartland through a friend. The people were so welcoming and honest; it was a big change from church experiences I had in the past. Pastor Dave Ambrose brings energy, passion, and doses of reality to the messages, and the many diverse Life Groups give me a place to plug in and explore faith with friends. As a guy, having men's activities like Wing Night, softball and basketball teams, golf outings, a men's retreat, and even trapshooting at the church make it really easy to connect with other guys and learn about God's love.

bring your smart phone. The church puts all the message details and scripture references on the You Version Bible app. You can follow along right from your phone. And dress casually!
“Family”by wclardy
Heartland is family to me! We always look forward to attending Sunday service because I get to see so many of my good friends. I walk away feeling refreshed and encouraged to make positive changes in my life. Dave's message always seems to be directed to me. They are real life messages to help us get through the week in a more positive, loving way.
“A Church For Everyone in the Community!”by Michelle Lewis
My family and I moved to Medina a few years ago and began looking for a church home. We were introduced to Heartland by a neighbor and also by a fellow PTO Mom. The environment at Heartland is amazing. It's exciting to see children want to be at church and both families and individuals who do not feel pressured to contribute, but who genuinely WANT to get involved! Heartland has multiple groups to participate in for all ages and all walks of life. It truly is a church for everyone in the community!!

There is a really nice packet available just inside the entrance when you come to Heartland as a First Time Visitor...be sure to grab one! Also, check out Heartland's Display wall which includes all the wonderful small groups that are available for ministry and support!
“A wonderful home for our family”by Nicole Weidokal
Our family was warmly welcomed, including in Children's Ministry, Middle School and High School. Our family as well as our individual walks with Christ have been deepened through Biblical messages, excellent discipleship and awesome community! We have all made deep, lifelong friendships here. It was the first church we visited in Medina and though we fully intended to, we knew we were where we belonged and never went anywhere else.
“Thriving and growing community church”by unclecleve
Heartland Community Church is everything I was looking for in a church experience. Bible-based beliefs, contemporary worship, friendly Christ-centered atmosphere, down to earth people. We moved from another state to the Medina area and spent several months at looking for the right fit for us and our three children. Heartland was welcoming, making it easy to connect. We were able to connect in life groups, bible study and serving where we wanted to serve on Sunday morning. We are now fully-engaged in the church family and we love it.

Heartland is a casual-dress church. Wear what you feel comfortable in. Each service has a full compliment of contemporary worship music. Nursery and children's care is also provided. Currently the second service is the most crowded, but arriving 15 minutes early to have a donut, coffee and some fellowship will get you a seat.
“I LOVE MY CHURCH”by teewgner
Heartland is a welcoming environment and a church for the unchurched. Everyone is welcome at Heartland! You are and encouraged to come, ask questions and learn more about Jesus. It is a safe place to connect and worship with others, so come as you are and enjoy great contemporary worship and a current and relevant Bible-based message. I love my church!

We have Welcome Packets near the doors to exit the lobby. Grab a packet and learn more about what makes Heartland a great place to learn and get to know Jesus, and to connect with other people in worship. There is a cafe, so grab some coffee and a donut and just ask someone standing near you more about Heartland. Everyone is friendly and welcoming to our new attenders, we love to see meet new people.
